This year, the proceeds of the Lions Drive will benefit Mission 21. For the traditional charity event of the Lions Club Basel-Wettstein, around 60 classic cars drove up in front of the Mission House on June 10.
Many of the strollers and passers-by who crossed the Mission Park on Saturday morning stopped in amazement at the exit to the Mission Street. Because here an unusual picture presented itself: Between 9 and 10 o'clock in the morning, numerous extraordinary vintage cars from all over Switzerland drove up in quick succession.
The drive through in front of the Mission House was the first post of the Lions Drive. This event is organized annually by the Lions Club Basel-Wettstein, the proceeds are always donated to a charitable institution.
This year, Mission 21 was selected for support. We are very pleased that our work in 20 countries and our approximately 70 partner organizations are supported in this way and would like to express our sincere thanks.
