In many of our partner countries, religious and political fundamentalism is on the rise, threatening indigenous groups, human rights, democracy and environmental concerns. Mission 21 promotes theological education that enables people to critically reflect on social developments and develop in constructive dialog with other disciplines and religions. In this way, we empower people who work as "ambassadors of change" for peace, social justice and environmental protection.
