Daniel Gloor spent five months in Jordan's capital Amman. His goal was to deepen his knowledge of Arabic and to broaden his personal horizon of experience. In mid-January he returned to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, where he resumed his work as a theology lecturer at STS.
In his latest newsletter, he talks about how much time it took him to settle back in Kota Kinabalu. He also reports on difficulties with his work permit, comments on the national elections in Malaysia and describes observations from everyday life at the STS.
Newsletters are personal accounts of experiences and do not necessarily reflect the views of Mission 21.
