Fundaciòn Prodiasur
The Fundaciòn Prodiasur was founded in 2002 as an initiative of young professionals with the aim of improving the quality of life of rural families in the province of Loayza, department of La Paz, with a view to sustainable rural development. In the first years, PRODIASUR supported activities based on the problems identified in the intervention area, such as water shortage, deterioration of soil productivity, lack of participation of women in decision-making processes and lack of knowledge about their rights and duties as Bolivian citizens. In particular, agroecological practices, water collection using artisanal ponds, agroforestry and family gardens were promoted. Since 2024, Mission 21 has been funding a project to promote agroecology in the municipality of Copacabana.
