EPRT, disaster preparedness and emergency response team.

The Emergency Preparedness and Response Team (EPRT) is a network of Catholic, Protestant, Muslim and governmental organizations based in Jos that supports local communities in central and northeastern Nigeria in identifying conflict potential and implementing preventive measures, and provides humanitarian assistance in the event of a disaster. EPRT began in 2005 as a project of the Social Justice and Human Development for Peace Initiative (JDPC) of the Catholic Diocese of Jos. Today, EPRT is unique in Nigeria with its inclusive approach and extensive network at all levels.
