The women in Maria's family have repeatedly been the target of sexual violence by men. The perpetrators do not even stop at children. Maria's husband and the police abandoned her. In rural Bolivia, her story is no exception.
Our partner organization Fundación Machaqa Amawta (FMA) offers protection and accompaniment. With prevention work, children and adolescents are to be protected from assault and the spiral of violence is to be broken.
