The result is a very personal and exciting feature. You can hear authors who contributed texts for the Basel Prayer Book and also young people from different religions who were interviewed on the subject of prayer on the Palatinate, right next to Basel Cathedral.
Author Maya Brändli interviewed, among others, Josefina Hurtado, who is responsible for the topic of gender justice in the management of Mission 21. She tells how a prayer group for women was founded in Chile after the Pinochet dictatorship, with the aim of providing victims of the dictatorship with a protected space for exchange and overcoming trauma (can be heard in the program from minute 43.30).
This "Passage" program also features Daniel Frei, who as pastor for Worldwide Church BS/BL helped initiate the intercultural prayer book. He describes how important the diversity of the migration churches is for the religious and cultural life in Basel (from minute 12.00) and how close prayers and poems are (minute 32.00).
