Covid 19 at Mbozi Mission Hospital, Tanzania

Jens Marcus Albrecht works as a surgeon and trauma surgeon in Mbozi, Tanzania. The infection rates with Covid 19 cases are very low in Tanzania. However, it turns out that this does not mean that there are no cases. Very little testing is done, but recently there were two deaths at Mission Hospital in Mbozi that were attributed to the Corona virus, according to Jens Marcus Albrecht. In his new Newsletter he reports on the tragedy of these and other cases.

He is also troubled by poisonous snakes in the garden and power failures when baking bread. But there is no shortage of positive news: Albrecht reports on a new nurse, on the commissioning of donated lamps, on successful operations and recovered patients, and on many other details of everyday life at the hospital in Mbozi.
