On February 19, 111 schoolgirls were abducted by the terrorist militia Boko Haram from the village of Dapchi in northeastern Nigeria. As yet, few details are known. It is unclear how many girls were rescued. Reports from SRF4 News and in the NZZ show that the Nigerian government's fight against the terrorist militia has stalled. Thousands of girls and women have disappeared in the same way in northern Nigeria in recent years. Mission 21 has been working with the severely traumatized girls and women since 2014.
